Whimsical Wednesdays presents: You know you have a teenager when…

You realize that you have not learned the language of grunts

Your weekly food bill is as high as your monthly mortgage

“I forgot” is the answer for every question, always

“Can I borrow…” is the only question they know

You find containers of all shapes and sizes in your refrigerator with a cenemeter of whatever it is, left in it

Sarcasm is the only language spoken

You are sure the author of the ZITS comic lives in your walls

There are more electronics that start with “ i ” in your house than any other letter

You get a call from the phone company that you have reached the limit of your unlimited texts

You make an appointment with the eye doctor because you are afraid your teenagers eyes are permanently rolling

Here are some other people’s thought s on the same subject:

A teenager is a person who complains that there is nothing to do and then stays out all night doing it.

Don’t bother discussing sex with teenagers, they’ll just laugh at how little you know.

When you’re a teenager, ‘No’ is a complete sentence.

Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-o to a tree

Mothers of Teenagers Know Why Animals Eat Their Young

See, the problem is that God gives teenage boys a brain and a penis, and only enough blood to run one at a time

Why do they rate a movie “R” for “adult language?” The only people I hear using that language are teenagers

A teenager is always too tired to hold a dishcloth, but never too tired to hold a phone.

It is amazing how quickly the kids learn to drive a car, yet are unable to understand the lawnmower, snowblower or vacuum cleaner.

Feel free to add to the list and share with me as we continue to live out our motto of
Laugh to Survive

Lol lol. I am glad I don’t have teenagers…yet. But I do have 2 boys….This is a great parenting resource called the Mom’s Guide (http://www.1dental.com/moms-guide/). I didn’t realize teen’s oral health can really affect their self-esteem. Just one more thing…
